Dr. Seuss' The Cat in The Hat
When comparing and contrasting my person review and Roger Ebert's review of Dr. Seuss' The Cat in The Hat i felt very differently about the movie than Roger.
Roger felt the movie overused technology, used too much makeup and took the happiness found in the book away form the characters. I on the other hand enjoyed the technology as it brought fantasy to real life. Part of the personification of Mike Myers' character the cat was dependent upon the make artists. Colorful makeup added life in personality to the cat. The happiness of the movie was delivered through the magical color and the exiting story line.
